Because GoChyro connects users with licensed chiropractors who may provide chiropractic and related wellness services, we handle certain personal and health-related information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).

GoChyro may function as a Business Associate under HIPAA, while chiropractors act as Covered Entities. As a Business Associate, GoChyro agrees to:
• Safeguard protected health information (“PHI”) with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
• Use PHI only as permitted to provide services through the Platform.
• Not disclose PHI except as authorized by you, your Provider, or required by law.
• Enter into HIPAA-compliant agreements with Providers who use our Platform.
4. Sharing of Information
We may share information as follows:
• With Providers: To enable them to deliver chiropractic services.
• With Service Providers: For payment processing, data hosting, and technical support, subject to HIPAA requirements.
• For Legal Reasons: To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government requests.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your personal and health information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
6. Your Rights
Under HIPAA and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Request restrictions on certain uses or disclosures.
• Receive an accounting of disclosures of your PHI.
Requests to exercise these rights should be directed to your Provider. GoChyro will support Providers in fulfilling these obligations.

We retain your personal and health information only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, or as required by HIPAA.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
